ANS Networking Backup Strategy

ANS Networking works with each client to setup an effective backup plan that considers Disaster Mitigation, Cybersecurity requirements and Business Continuity. While we realize every client is different, one constant remains, all data needs to be backed up locally and to the cloud (off-site). The local backup is utilized for quick restores of deleted files and folders. The Cloud backup allows ANS Networking to perform monthly test restores in a virtual environment and boot up the operating system to check data. ANS Networking also offers DRaaS (Disaster Recovery as a Service). DRaaS is a service ANS Networking utilizes to keep a “warm” copy of your servers sitting on a Cloud server for failover should a disaster occur.

Disaster Recovery

A Disaster Recovery Plan (DR Plan) is a detailed IT document that provides a blueprint for recovering from common business disruptions, such as:

Ransomware or Other Cyberattacks
Environmental Catastrophes
Building Accessibility or Power Disruption
Employee Errors
Hardware Failures
Software Failures

Data Recovery

ANS Networking is always ready to restore your data quickly should the need arise. Our test restore schedule is logged and reports are always available to our clients upon request. We offer the ability to restore your servers to the cloud providing business continuity should a disaster occur. Selecting critical infrastructure throughout your company and synchronizing with cloud infrastructure is now affordable to small businesses.

Disaster Mitigation

ANS Networking works with all our clients to implement DM/DR planning throughout our onboarding process. The initial audit provides a blueprint to determine your current readiness to deal with a catastrophe. We document all IT related vendors, software, hardware, configuration and responsible parties (DM/DR Team) so we know ahead of time who is responsible for what. We manage revisions and update the document as needed.

Backup Security & Encryption

Our Data Centers support HIPAA, ISO27001, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type II, and SOC 2 Type II to ensure Security Requirements throughout various industries. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
